"Natchez Blues"

It was a lovely evening along the Mississippi River. The rain and storms of the day had cleared. Golden sunlight lingered just long enough to invite relieved and happy travelers outdoors. Strangers spoke hellos, waved, and smiled with ease at anyone who passed. The air was light and pleasantly in tune with the friendly vibe. Then, after the sun had succeeded in welcoming these nearby souls to the riverfront, the magic of the blue hour revealed itself. Reflections of by gone days floated upon the mighty river. In this moment the past and present met and embraced fondly.
